Sorry if this has been asked before but I was curious if I should be shooting in RAW with my Canon DSLR (getting the xt or xti on Saturday and want to know a few things before I pop off a few thousand shots in the first day. With this newest release, it's possible to have all your RAW files open in Camera Raw. I'll be using Photoshop CC (Creative Cloud) here but this tutorial is also fully compatible with Photoshop CS6. I've found easier and quicker ways to do things in other software (spot adjustments, noise reduction and sharpening), but if I had to I could do it in LR alone. I would venture to say that I could live with Lightroom alone for 90% of my post processing. It's extremely simple to use, more intuitive than PS, and is starting to get the tools to make it a real competitor with PS for the amateur photographer.
